LLOYD A. MILLER Assistant Principal TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 1950 Life is similar to a main highway in many respects. There is a beginning and an end with many crossroads between. Graduation from high school is one of the milestones on the highway. As early as possible each one should determine his destination or successful goal Success must be analyzed for it should not mean the acquisition of material wealth alone. Success is won through diligent and efficient effort and results from unstinting Concentra tion upon the goal. If you expect to receive you must first give. Plan your future as an engineer would make detailed plans for a highway bridge across a wide river. The foundation is of utmost importance. Education can help you make your foundation for your life goal. May your journey along the highway of life be a happy one. Sincerely yours nd Q- Assistant Principal 9
