REBELS STRIVE FOR l-llGl-IER GOALS The girl's volleyball season srarred on a nopeful nore, bur never achieved rhe goals rhey had hoped for. Sharon Hammerschmidr worlsed very hard wirh rhe girls on rheir elemenrary slsills. All rhe girls improved, our as R.H.S. improved so did rhe other volleyball reams, Many marches were exrremely close, our rhe Rebels could never converr rhis ro a win. There is hope for rhe furure though for rhere are many ralenr- ed Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors on rhe ream. J.V. BASKETBALL: LEAGUE CHAMPIONS Being Tri-River Champions, having a 19-1 overall record, being 14-O in the league, and collecting the most wins for a J.V. team in Biverside's history were some of the accomplishments for the J.V, Basketball Team. Other highlights included a thrill ing overtime victory at Cherry Hill to clinch the title. Peter Brewis was leading scorer, Ray Lambert the leading rebounder, and Keith Kindred led the team in assists. TOP LEFT: Ray Lambert skies over the opponent for two points. .l,V.
