Art Various media, techniques, and styles are practiced and developed in the classes of both junior and senior high art students. Their efforts are brought to the attention of the student body by means of seasonal displays and the annual art exhibit. Developing culture in the minds of students was the job that was undertaken by the music depart- ment. In music appreciation classes students studied the life of composers and the era in which they Wrote. They also listened to compositions written by great composers representing our different cul- tures and ways of life. Thus, the students learned of the value and pleasure that can be derived from music.

s Q Another important point of the Dewey Decimal Sys- tem is . . . U Mrs. Huling explains library procedure to 7th grade Library Science class. Library Answers to many questions were found ir1 the vast resources of the library. In addition, it provided a quiet place to study and a new and ever expanding selection of books and reference materials. Library Science classes taught students how to use the library properly. However, students were not the only individuals to benefit from the library. The professional room was put to good use by teachers working during their preparation periods.
