We dedicate this book with a feeling of deep affection for a wonderful person It is also dedicated with a feeling of gratitude for the many kindnesses and favors done for us. In the years to come, we will remember him as a friend, principal, and counselor. He is always near when someone needs a helping hand, and his strength of character, quiet dignity, and understanding symbolize the ideals we have set for ourselves. The dedication of the 1966 MEMORIES, which must represent a symbol of our gratitude, is a small token indeed with which to reward constant vigilance and calm and administrative activities. But we take this opportunity, however small, to express our sincere thanks to you, Mr. Harold Holmes, for being the guiding light by which our school functions. 8

Mrs. Allie V. Johnson, librarian, is always willing to help students find material for their assignments. Mr. Harold Holmes, principal, is shown here in his office giving some important announcements over the intercom system. He has worked long hard hours in planning our school curriculum and school activities. Mrs. Carolyn Holmes, secretary and receptionist, serves as liaison person for the faculty and student body. Mrs. Allie Mae Stevens, guidance counselor, is one of the most valuable persons in school. Students who have questions concerning their school work are always wel¬ come in her office.
