The most valuable member of our girls’ sports teams, Lynn Kobylenski was on the Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball and Tennis Varsity teams. She has been in the Girls Leaders Club for three years and President of the Leaders Club for two years. In ad- dition to her athletic achievements, she has been a member of the band for four years, attending the Junior NYSSMA Band and the NYSSMA solo contest. The Girls’ Sports Editor of this yearbook, “Kobski” plans to go into the field of Physical Educa- tion. Betsy Kolb is always smiling and making new friends. She is fun loving and always on the move. The Blonde Giant, Carol Koplinka is a humorous and interesting girl. She was active in the Library Club, German Club, and Band. Carol also took part in the NYSSMA solo contest. Her future holds a career in elementary education. Kathy Koroleski was a member of Pep Club, the Future Nurses Club and the school newspaper. She was an Orchestra member for all four years and participated in the school play and in Archery. Her future plans are to love, to live and to enjoy. Richie Kosciusko plans to enter the service. We wish him luck in all his future endeavors. John Kruszon, whom everyone calls “Skippy,” is a transfer from Mercy High School. Skip is always laughing, even when he shouldn’t. In his sophomore year John won the U.N. essay contest. Pat Kryger, a rather subdued girl in class, was a faithful flute player in the Band for all four years. Mark Kwasna is the last of the “NR’s.” He has been G.O. Class Representative and has participated on both the Wrestling and Soccer teams. When Mark grows up he wants to be a State Policeman. AW RICHARD JOHNSON RICHARD KALUZINSKI RICHARD KART DANIEL KEENAN KENNETH KOBYLENSKI Dick Johnson has been an indispensible part of the Football, Basketball and also Baseball teams for all four years. Quiet and studious, he is a member of the National Honor Society and a Regents Scholarship winner. Michael Jones, known to his friends as “Deacon,' was a valuable member of the Football and Track teams. He received the Physical Fitness Award for all four years and participated in the Weight Training program for three years. A former member of the Student Advisory Com- mittee, he plans to go to college to study data processing. Richard Kal” Kalu .inski has been indispensible to both the Cross Country and Track teams. Always willing to be a friend, Rick Kart has participated in Band, Football, and Baseball. Once upon a time Danny Keenan was on the Soccer team. Then he worked for S.A.C. in Portable Two. Lisa King has been a part of the Choir, the school play, also German Club, Yearbook staff and the Volleyball team. In addition to being treasurer of the G.O., she has been on the Student Curriculum Committee, the Dance Committee, the Senior Prom Committee and the Head- start Party Committee. She plans to go into elementary education. Diane Klodaski is a nice girl who is always willing to be a friend; also a great artist. Kenneth Kobylenski, a former member of the Track team, plans to be architect. “Koby” is a mem- ber of the National Honor Society. 26

EDWIN T. LACHICK GENE LAMENDOLA DAVID LANG “Mr. Ed” attends the Vocational School studying industrial electronics. Edwin T. Lachick has only one aim in life: to succeed. Gene Lamendola has diligently studied Party in all four years of High School. He plans on a music career. Maybe in party music? David Fang” Lang plans to pursue a quiet career in electronics. Elizabeth Langhaar was bet- ter known as “Bebe.” She worked for the Library Club for two years and in Ue Nursing Club as a freshman. Bebe in- tends to pursue a career as a typist. Gloria Langhorn was the treasurer of the Senior Class. She is basically a quiet person, but those who know her realize that she will go far in the data processing career which she hopes to pursue. How will any of us forget Earnest Langhorne, as the ac- tive President of our G.O.? The “Great One” also has been involved in the Community Relations Council, the Black Ensemble, Wrestling and Track. He also is the Chairman of the B.S.U. Ernest will be an asset to whatever college he wants to attend. Russell Roke” Langhorne contributed to our school by participating in X-Country, Track, Wrestling, and Football. In his junior year Russell was the League Five Champ in Wrestling.
