Valerie Goode in her years at Riverheaci High School has been very active in such activities as newspaper, Library Club, Stu- dent Affairs Club, Drama Club, Prom Committee, Halloween Dance Decoration Committee, Yearbook, Literary Magazine, and the Ecology Program. She has also been a member of the Basketball team and of the Volleyball team of which she was captain in her junior year. Sue Graff is an attractive and quiet girl with an optimitic outlook and a smile. She is a persevering and loyal friend. Colin Grattan, known to his friends as a listener, has made his mark as a serious worker in the community. Pat Gray has been a member of both the track and the Cross Country teams. Ruby Greene, known to her friends as Janie,” has participated in the Library Club, the Girls’ Intramural Sports Program and the Halloween Decoration Committee. She plans to learn interior designing. Alfred Grossklaus, towering above his classmates, is known to all as Alf, and can usually be seen either heading towards his Road Runner or beep-beeping his way down the road. ROSE MARY GALKA VIRGINIA GELLER GWENDOLYN GERTRUDE GATZ Rosemary Galka, aside from her school work, works at the A P Supermarket as a checker. Her plans are to get mar- ried in the near future. Cynthia Gamble, a transfer from Barbour County H.S. in Alabama has been very active in Girls’ Sports. She’s been an active participant in Basket- ball, Volleyball and Track. She was the Secretary of her class in eleventh grade and she hopes to become a book- keeper or secretary. Gwendolyn Gatz, known to us as “Gwen,” has been in Choir for her freshman and sopho- more years. She worked on the Headstart Christmasparty in her junior year. In her senior year she helped put the yearbook together with her great typing. She likes helping her father on the farm and loves the outdoors. Her future career is to be a Hairstylist. Dennis Gayda known to us as “Denny” was in Football in his freshman and sophomore year. He plans to go on to college. Virginia Geller, better known as “Ginnie,” always has a nice smile. Also, we can’t forget she worked in Grants. Jeff Gibel is a hardworking fellow. He spends many hours after school at his job. Wal- ter Gilbert, a student in the Vocational School, has made an early start in a career in the business world. Edgar Ale” Goodale, has been an active Wrestler through his four years at R.H.S. HARRIS Always laughing and happy, Joan Guyder was in Art Club, the School Play, the Yearbook, and the Dance Committee. A first- place winner of the Fire Prevention Contest and a member of the National Honor Society, she wants to become a fashion de- signer. Kathy Hackert has been a member of the Library Club and of the Girls’ Softball team. She had the honor of winning the Southampton Republic Essay Contest in her Junior year. Linda Haizlip, who is a member of the National Honor Society and the Art Club, enjoys sewing and home economics. A future secretary, she likes to read alraut politics and politicians. Rosa Hale, who is never afraid to say what is on her mind, was a General Organization Representative in her senior year. A cheer- leader for two years, the Minister of Culture for Black Students United, and a member of the Black Ensemble, “Lizzie” plans to attend Albany University. Jeff Hallock is always around whenever anyone needs help in anything. His warm smile and cheerful personality will go far. Tim Hansen, who plans to attend Automotive School, has participated in Cross Country, Track, and Weight Lifting. Fred Harris, who has attended the Vocational School, plans to be a computer programmer. Terry Harris has participated in Pep Club, Tennis, Badminton and Volleyball. “Camel” enjoys waterskiing, dancing, swimming, and going out. She has chosen office work as her career.
