We live in a world of separations. In Germany, a wall of political conflict unnat- urally divides brother from brother. In Southeast Asia, opposing factions grapple for control of government. The organizations of co-operation are torn by fierce controversy, and it seems that the world cannot encompass the existant -extremes of thought and action. There is proof, however, that harmony is the natural condition rather than the unnatural. We see this in the atom, whose particles are bound together creating a whole. We can also see that there is hope for harmony in mankind. The Gettysburg Address is a landmark in the struggle for this harmony called —brotherhood. A Inspired by the spirit of unity in the Gettysburg Address and the physical unity in the atom, we base this yearbook on the unity of mankind —brotherhood.
