I '1 opening year; Mr. Harry B. Ward, who at this time holds the office of Superintendent of Schools of the First Supervisory District of Suffolk County, was vice- principal. In this building there are now 325 stu- dents in the junior high, 486 in the senior high, and 18 in the kindergarten. The total registration is 1,504, an increase of over 200 students since 1950. Of the 60 members of the faculty, 48, who spend all or the major part of their day with classes at the high school building, are as follows: John B. Thomas, supervising principal; George A.
