STEVE COLE RECEIVES HONORABLE MENTION ON THE HIGH SCHOOL ALLAMERICAN TEAM Steve Cole was Riverdales outstanding lineman ofthe I969 season. Over 4096 of the offensive plays went over his posi- tion with an additional 2596 going over his side of the line. Steve averaged 3.4 down field blocks per game and was credited with 4 touchdown blocks. Steve was Co-MVP and co-captain of the Riverdale Falcon football team. He was named to the All-Ohio First Team by UPI and received Hon- orable Mention by AP. Steve also received placement on the All-Northwest Ohio First Team and Honorable Mention on the High School All-American Team. PAT WEBER MAKES OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE HONORABLE MENTION IN THE STATE Pat Weber was Riverdale's highest scorer this year and was rated second in the North Central Conference with 72 points. Through the -season Pat set a new school record for yards averaged per pass reception. Pat was Co-MVP and named to the All-NCC First Team for the second consecutive year. Along with these other numerous honors, Pat isthe first play- er to ever receive both Defensive and Offensive Honorable Mention in the state in one year.
