The class of 63 is coming closer to the day when they will be required to take an energetic and responsible role as citizens of the United States of America. As of now they are looking forward to their future money making projects of selling candy, the annual, and having their school dance. They are also thinking about the Senior trip which will be a grand finale to the most active four years of their lives. Also, it is the year that the Juniors treat the Seniors at the Junior-Senior banquet. This always is an occasion that stands out in the minds of Seniors as one of their dearest memories. JUNIOR ACTIVITIES The Juniors are planning for the future, not only curriculum wise, but also by working together in class projects. One of the projects the Junior Class sponsored was the magazine sale. The class split into different competitive teams. This spurred magazine sales over their goal of $1,400. The Juniors made quite a splash in the gym with their Halloween Dance. Refreshments were served for those with a big hunger. The Juniors were elated about receiving their class symbols, rings and jackets. Junior talk consisted mainly of who ' s wearing who ' s ring or jacket for a week after their arrival. Projects coming up for the Junior class consist of the Junior- Senior Banquet, and Senior Trip. 21 George Abel Steve Bennett Allen Amstutz Florence Bice E. The lucky boy and girl were taken down to the Indiana University campus to meet with other representatives from the entire State. Then the program of teaching them State and governmental functions began. For six days they studied and had fun with hundreds of other boys and girls. Finally the time came for them to leave. With misty eyes they waved a final farewell to some truly wonderful American citizens. They carried home with them a better understanding of how th eir State and National Governments are run, along with a deeper pride for the country in which they live. The Pep Club can pat itself on the back for the spirit it displayed while backing our team at the Hamilton Invitational Tourney . It set a pace for the rest of the schools to follow. The whole school was commended for their big mou-sounds. The entire Pep Club is working together to obtain jackets for the Sectional Tourney.
