BACCAlAUl2GA1CG SXERCISES The Baccalaureate ser- vice was held Sunday, May 19, 1957, at 2:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. The Re v e r e nd Richard Hochstedler of the M e th o d ist Church delivered the message. The invocation and benediction were given by the Reverend Earl I. Prignitz of the Friends Church. Music was furnished by the High School Chorus. NAV We left on our Senior trip on Sunday, May 12, 1957, at 1:45 p.m. from New Castle , Indiana . 1 itll - S We arrived at Washington D.C. Monday morning. Upon arrival, we took a bus tour of the Capitol and Supreme Court. Monday aftemoon we visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Mt. Vemon. We also made stops at the Iwolima Statue and the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. Tuesday moming we visited the White House, the Archives Building, and the Pan American Building. Tuesday afternoon we toured the Washington Monu- ment and Smithsonian Institute. Tuesday evening we board- 6 ed our train for New York City and arrived there later. iw fi'h On Wednesday we toured New York and Manhattan. ,:-- 5 2 The evening was open for movies, TV broadcasts, or stage- 1 9 3' a-.,.: q it shows. 9 . Thursday we made a visit to the N. B.C. Studios where Q if . V we saw many educational things. In the afternoon around ::- 6:30 p. m. we departed from New York.
