Our present class enroll ent consists of twenty-four students. In addition to the ten mentioned above, those who have entered are: Richard Charlton, Paul Erskine, William Foster, Marlin Hinshaw, Stella Houchins, Eileen Huffman, Lucille Jarrett, Charlotte Kupferer, Wayne Lawrence, Doris Liggett, Betty McDonald, Mary Shell, R. J. Stewart, and Jesse Weeks . Now as our senior year draws to a close, we think beck over the various steps we have taken together, each school year, filled with its own obstacles, a forward step in that long stair-way of life. And we wonder if we.sha1 keep climbing, step by step, until we attain that long-sought-for goal, the top of that precarious stair-way, and find that nLife as what we make it. Jackie Wyatt was kissed by Madelyne, Doris, and Peggy? Johnny Langley's garter, which was a piece of inner-tube, flipped up to ,the front of the room. The teacher thought he was trying to be funny, therefore she made him play with dolls? f Miss May slapped R. J. With anxiety and enthusiasm we looked forward to the two out- standing features of that year, the class play, nWorrying Willie,n and the junior and senior trip. They were both successes, but of course, we shall hold the memory of-our trip to the Smoky Mountains as by far our sur passing junior activity As the result of the aid and support of the class of '59, we were able to enjoy and appreciate the thrills of that trip The summer months sped by, and once agaln 'wo found ourselves back in our school routine But new we were the dignified seniors Our hopes as 'Treshies' were realized that long coveted goal had been reached we could new look down knowingly upon all lower classmen We were the superiors by far the wisest But 'Iasl Our dreams have shattered, for with amazement we find we feel the same and act the same as we did when we were mere freshmen!
