The time and effort involved teaches students how to help others in learning and understanding the basics of school work. LIVI G INSIDE MY ELF ,Q J ,M Mr. Dirks' Health classes this year are concentrating more on the health and safety of others. Many guest speakers are coming in in- cluding ones from the Quint City Drug Abuse Center and from the Mental Health Center. Another ad- dition to the health department is new books. Also, this year, instead of just learning the steps to artifi- cial respiration, the students prac- tice the technique themselves on Resuscitation Annie CSessiej from the Red Cross Center in Moline, and are even receiving official First Aid Cards.

NDY MAN I l Q--ve I. -Q The Industrial Arts classes this year were once again guided through the year under the watchful hand of Mr. Bell. They learned the basics and advanced process of shop- work and classwork and gained valuable experience from Mr. Bell and his learned teaching abilities.
