Registration for students means signing up for classes you want, need, or have to take because it's the only one open. It also means frustration, total schedul- ing chaos, and only a couple hours of school! Riverdale's History Department has three teachers. Mr. Watson teaches Federal Constitution, Population Problems , Sociology , Civil War, Current Affairs, Life Span, Comparative Social Sys- tems, Political Parties, and Law Enforcement. Mr. Michel teaches Current Affairs, Illinois History, Life Span, Colonialism and the American Revolution, 20's and 3O's, Psychology, Mid- dle East, Modern Europe, and Working Man in America . And Mr. Lancaster instructs Practical Law, History of the American West, History of Music, Far East, Urban Affairs, New Model Me , Criminal Law, and Ancient Civ- ilization. Y! 11 This year's Drama Depart- ment, directed by Gloria Thode , presented Neil Simon's play, Plaza Suite , as its fall pro- duction. Plaza Suite is a comedy set in a hotel room in New York City . It is written as three one act plays, each one completely dif- ferent than the others. Act I is about a businessman and his wife on their 28rd or 24th wedding anniversary. Act Il depicts a small town boy who hits it big in Hollywood, then returns to see his old high school sweetheart.
