' Education On The Reservation very student dreamed of future success, but success began as we developed our skills and talents. We were encouraged to excel in the areas of academics, athlet- ics, and group or individual activities. By taking advantage of the wide range of programs and instruction provided, each individual attempted to attain the skills needed for success both in school and in the future. There were countless oppor- tunities available to fill the needs of each individual, including elective, vocational, academic, and advanced placement courses. Each student was given the freedom and guidance to choose courses that would develop his potential. The curriculum improved and expanded in several notable ways. New this year was the Wrestling Team, under the direction of Mr. Jerry Williams, which provided a new sport for interested participants and another team for the rest of us to cheer, The How to Study Program for freshmen entered its sixth year, with the additional area of writing taught for the first time. Perhaps the strongest indication of our school's success academically was the encouraging rise in ACT scores. ln all four areas test scores were up, with English scores above the state and nation. As a result of a diversified program, a committed and professional faculty, and, most importantly, a student body of individuals motivated to learn, we were ac- complishing our goals. On the athletic field, in the classroom, and in special functions, our commitment to our school and each other made us one.
