Makings he approach of a new school term was sig- naled by the flurry of last minute vacations as students and faculty prepared to give up sum- mer festivities and officially begin another exciting and fun-filled year. Practice sessions for the football team and camps for the cheerleaders, band, and yearbook staff, as well as special workshops for teachers, all announced the arrival of the 1985-86 term. When school began, freshmen, eager yet ap- prehensive, wandered frightened through the halls to their classes. Sophomores were relieved that they were no longer Hgreeniesf' Juniors, on the other hand, were excited to be in the ranks of the upper- classmen, and seniors were both thrilled and sad- dened that this was their last year as Warriors. Everyone looked forward to pep rallies, football and basketball games, and dances, although we dreaded our first report cards. Whether busy prepar- ing for the football season, organizing club activities, or becoming readjusted to school, we were involved in the process of becoming Warriors. All in all, we were ready for a great year. u 1 . if I i- Uppet right-Leah and Amy loyally sing the Alma Mater in their final year as Warriors. Left-Thomas instructs ROTC members in the correct form.
