The Rainbow Connection he last major event for seniors each year be- fore graduation is the prom. Hosted by the Junior Class on April 27, 1985, at Riverdale, the theme of the 1985 prom was The Rainbow Connection. Juniors and their sponsors spent many hours in fund-raising, planning, and decorating to en- sure the event would be special, and Autumn pro- vided the live music. Highlighting the evening was the traditional presentation of the Senior Class officers and superlatives, as well as Prom Queen Tammy Espy and her court, which included Jill Wamsley, Emily Wendell, Cindy Lane, and Jenise Outland. The Junior-Senior Prom is one of the most memorable occasions of high school, and The Rainbow Connec- tion was no exception. Upper right--Tammy Espy proudly wears the crown as the 1985 Prom Queen.
