The school offers them the cultural heritage of Ameri- ca, the vocational opportunities of our land, and the foundation for a life of individual satisfaction and social betterment. taff The Vigilant Staff of 1955 has worked hard and long to make this year's Annual a book that portrays, in words and in pictures, the spirit of our high school. The members of the staff sold the space for advertisements, took the informal pictures, wrote the stories, created the original art work, designed the layouts of the pages. They coaxed and coerced their fellow classmates and the faculty into having their pictures taken and returning their proofs. When the Annual was sent to press, they sighed in relief -- but then came proofreading, collecting for the advertising, and, at last, distributing the book to the ticket holders. lt was fun. They enjoyed the work. They hope the students of River Rouge High enjoy the Vigilant of 1955. FUTURE REMBRANDTS - or Disney's helpers?
