The 1987 Drama Club sold can- dy bars in January. Members went to Chevy's to eat dinner before go- ing to the WTSU Branding Iron Theatre to see One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. They participated in many University lnterscholastic League tournaments. The speech team brought home numerous superior and excellent ratings. They also produced 'lAntic Spr- ingw for the UIL one act contest play.

The River Road High School Rodeo Club is a member of the Tri-State High School Rodeo Association, which is composed of numerous High School Rodeo Clubs in the Tri-State Region. Throughout the year River Road Club members par- ticipated in some 25 rodeos from September through May, with finals in June. The RRRC consists of approx- imately 20 members and is sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Elton Cain. The club held a meeting every other week, and we participated in several fund raisers. The money we raised was used for a dinner and several class projects.
