Months of morning practice, sweat, and hard work finally paid off on the morning of February 23, 1962, as the River Forest Golden ingot Marching Band, auxiliary corps, and color guard stepped on the two Greyhound buses headed for Florida. The band performed in Disney World ' s ' Tencennlai ' celebration parade on February 25. Left: The rear view of our bus proudly proclaims its destination.
