c In f t@ SpotligRt Kim Rhein holt z was crowned foot- ball ' s homecoming queen. She has been drum major of the marching band since her junior year. She directed the homecoming pre-game show. She ' s been a band member throughout her high school ca- reer. Dave Kirk bride was voted Mr. Foot- ball by his fellow teammates. He made the second team of the All- Area All-Stars as tailback and was third leading scorer in the area. He ' s been a three-year varsity veteran. Gary Mathews was chosen Mt. Bas- ketball. He lettered three years and was leading scorer and rebounder on the team. At the Valparaiso section- als, he made the all-sectional team. He was co-captain of the varsity team. Dixie Darnell was awarded the title of Miss Ingot Spirit. She has been a member of the auxiliary corp majorette squad since her eighth grade year and has been rifle captain since her ju- nior year. She was a four-year pep dub member.

' Wassail tflccsnisd By cUsturning Jllumtti New and old faces alike were present at this year ' s Wassail, an annual medieval dinner presented by the River Forest choirs. For his eleventh Wassail, Mr. Drown Invited members of past choirs to perform. Appearing alumni included Barb (Mutters) Meade, Ann Doltrushai- tis, Jerry Carroll, Steve Rosenbaum, and Deth Davis. The entree consisted of bar-b-qued country ribs, baked pota- to. sour cream and chives, buttered mixed vegetables with mushrooms, and hot bread and butter. Dessert Included English plum pudding, rum cake, chocolate- lovers chiffon, cream-chocolate forte, assorted cookies. and cream-de-menthe cake. Antoinette Cesare was cast as this year ' s Santa Lucia.
