Unique Situations for Snoot SCom eomings Doth homecomings were unique this year. Homecom- ing queen Kim Rheinholtz hod o dual role to ploy during the football festivities. She had to give up her role as drum major in order to be present during the halftime activities. The basketball homecoming, however, dealt with when (or if, as it seemed) It would ever b e played. Although it ' s not too unusual for a game to be called on account of snow, this year ' s game may have set its own record. The basketball homecoming was postponed three times because of bad weather, and when it was finally held, we ended up playing a different team than was originally scheduled. Top left: The football homecoming court consisted of freshmen Janice Zoiadz and David Verduzco, seniors Kim Elliott, Dob Morton, Kim Rheinholtz, and Rusty Drown, juniors Sherry Halcomb and Tom Ordwoy, and sophomores Michaelene Durton and Dobby Dailey. Above left: The basketball homecoming court consisted of seniors Dixie Darnell, Donnie Sims, Kim Elliott, Randy Kemp, Donna Stone, Ron Montano. Sharon Crandall, Robert Soderquist, Jamie Hill, and Rusty Drown. Center: Donnie Sims talks with Dixie Darnell after she is an- nounced Miss Ingot Spirit. Dottom right: Kim Rheinholtz stands with her escort Rusty Drown. Far right: Trade Manning cheers for the team. 6
