The 1979 INGOT is dedicated to the Senior Class and in particular to Miss Violet Kosanovich. Words alone cannot do justice to her. They could never adequately express the kindness, the wit, and wisdom of this lady. ;Miss Kosanovich had a deep sensitivity to the needs and aspirations of young people. Her countless hour g ervice , devotion, and dedication have enriched more people jin her 22 years of tea i® jHj4 igbart Township Corporation than can be imagined . Miss Kosanovich b | moved to secondar she spent the last e philosophy that becanTS ' SWfSHf facts . She believed in teaching human couldn ' t be pou ail . The s seek and struggle forknowleag empntary i chool. She then the Mgh school, where years, she developed a dn ' jrDelieve in teaching n knew that education WfCSTwork ror it . They must actively , smr Slff S iys set high standards for her students. She knew that education could not be handed to another person. She believed in the ability of her students and through her belief, they came to believe in themselves . She demanded a lot, but she always gave more. River Forest has a void with the death of Miss Kosanovich. It is a void that cannot easily be closed. Her position has since been filled, but many years will pass before River Forest no longer feels her absence.
