Rings came in two styles. A rounded class ring type or a square school ri ng . Students had the choice of metal, stone, emblem, and a variety of other choices in style. Keith Board removed what was left of a door frame in carpentry class. Mr. Baldwin instructed Roger Deutscher about rewiring an engine. Mr. Tippett and Mr Paul Komisarcili, Tech placement advisor, looked at the Picasso replica at Tech. Voluntary practices at 7:00 a.m. improved the band. It was common for the band and choir to work together in pro- ducing an assembly. The first of these was the Veteran ' s Day Assembly, (pg. 14, middle and bottom) . The band was joined by a newly formed Ma- jorette Squad, ( pg . 14 , top), which performed during football games, (photos by Tom Shuler) More than 40 juniors and seniors attended Gary Vocational School.
