Wow! Was that a ginger bread woman? The rules of the game were simple. Get to the building and be in your seat by 8:00 a.m. every morning (except Saturday, Sunday, and holi- days). There was to be no smoking in the restrooms, no sleeping in the classrooms, and no taking cuts in the lunchroom. Every student was required to attend classes unless excused by Mr. Hook the dean of Stu- dents; each student in the halls during class hours had to have a pass, and students were forbidden to enter the teachers ' lounge newly located by the shop classes. Found in Lollipop woods. As the years of our lives fly by, each of us is in contact with many people in many places. In every situation, a person encounters he must assume the role of a player in a game and act in accord- ance with the actions around him. Every human being experi- ences various types of games. The R .F. school year of 1973-74 was one of the games. The students were the players. The object of the game — to survive through one whole year of homework, pep sessions, sports, and grades, and to win some sort of reward. Let ' s hobble over and get an ice cream. 2

Oops, wrong door! Hello, is this candy land? Becky Goings, Cindy Patterson. Other rules were established in each room. Any violater caught was dealt with by the rules. With the rules of the game set up, the players began in September. Players went by the rules, and players broke the rules. Players lost their turns, were sent back spaces. Most advanced to find themselves on top. Some received special goodies through hard workand per- severence; others barely made it past start. Teachers administration held the cards. At times, students drew what they wanted. In other cases they got just the opposite. 4
