’Wine and Roses’ enchants couples Red Wine and Roses was pre- sented by the senior class as the annual Turnabout dance on Feb- ruary 13. Complimenting the theme, hun- dreds of red roses decorated the tables and colonades, and a golden punch bowl spouting red punch decorated the refreshment table. Serving refreshments were Diane Julian, Sue Wright, Liz Been, Judi Kidwell, Michelle Davis, Diana Hayes, Debbie Martin, Kathy Tuck- er, Phyllis Stepnowski, and Cindy Cronch, all seniors. During the dance Giola ' s Studio of Gary took photographs of cou- ples in attendance. Time, a local rock group, pro- vided music for the 66 couples who attended. After the dance many couples traveled to area restaurants such as the Red Lantern, San Remos, Sir Alex ' s, Mama Puntillo ' s and Wellman ' s for a late evening dinner. Above Left— Melinda Richardson, fresh- man, and Ray Ostrander, senior, fill their cups with punch from the golden fountain that decorated the serving table. Left— Bill Travis and his date Kathy Binkley, sophomore, discuss their dinner plans with Kathy Lane and Steve Loving, sophomores.
