,-, . .711 ,Mcmariam in JAMES R. BARTON Mr. James Barton of Columbus, Ohio, attended Adelphi High School and Ohio University as a student. He was a teacher in the Ohio Schools at the time of his induction into the Armed Services during World War II. On Sept. 4, 1951, Mr. Barton began his teaching in the Risingsun School, to in- clude Business Education and English. Immediately, he had many friends in the school and community, as he was one of the group. Whenever a school activity was held, Mr. Barton could be depended upon to be there, in the line of duty. On Wednesday, March 12, 1952, while doing his teaching, he was stricken with illness. After a short time, he again appeared for two classes and said he was feeling better and ready to go. However, after school closed for the day, was again ill, an illness which led to his sudden death on Saturday, March 15, 1952, at 8:30 A. M. It was with much sadness, that the people learned of the death of our Commercial Teacher. Mr. Barton was a kind, energetic, tireless, friendly, and thoughtful person. He was always helping someone, as he found pleasure in assisting the students from day to day. May we always remember him as just one fine fellow and as a friend to all of us.
