SENIOR HISTORY ,Liguria ,us-Q. f .. In l948 we entered what we have been looking forward to, namely: NHigh Schooln. Our first real big activity was nin1tiation.u We went through the same routine, if not worse, than the other Freshmen had. Marilyn Thaxton was the attendant this year for the Homecoming football game We began our sophomore year and on September 30, l949 we gave the Freshmen the Wold routinen. Doris Ponsetta was elected Queen Attendant from our grade for the Homecoming football game with Bradner. June Gorrill was chosen Drum Majorette. As we entered our Junior year there seemed to be more for us to do. Naomi Bateson and Donna Lehmann were elected cheerleaders and Donna Lehmann as Queen Attendant. The main event was getting our class rings which we received shortly after school began. We looked forward to planning the Junior- Senior banquet which was held April 14, and after the enjoy- able banquet we journeyed to the sports arena and enjoyed Guy Lombardo and his orchestra. Most of our boys were active in sports. Harry Kemenah was awarded honorable mention as an all county football player. Also Donna Lehmann was chosen to go to Buckeye Girls' state and Don Norman to go to Buckeye Boys' state. We came back to school in l95l for our final year of school. This year will be considered as our busiest and happiest of all. Donna Lehmann was elected Queen Attendant for the Homecoming football game. Our next big thing was deciding our annual and annual staff. We decided to have a completely different annual this year and we are all working very hard to make itxa success. We had a profitable magazinex campaign in October and sold many things to help toward our A Senior trip. Five of our class were on the football squad, three on the basketball team, two were majorettes, three were cheer- leaders, four were F.H.A. members, six were band members, three were Thespian's, five were Glee Club members, five F.F.A. members, and eight were Dramatic Club members. We are looking forward to our Senior Class trip, which we will take the last part of May. This completes our high school career Some will be going to college, some to the will find an entirely new career. behind us and that is: we hope the will have as successful a year as thank all of you for helping us in school career a success. We want seniors we have anyway for making our high H' Y ' and our class. service, and others to leave one thought in the near future had. We want to
