SOPHOMORE CLASS HISTORY We started the year with 18, but lost Ruth Newlove to North Baltimore in October. We chose class officers as follows: President, Edward Onsel: Vice President, Norman Bassett5Secretary,Barbara Lehmann, Treasurer, Ethel Sanders Student Council, Betty Green and Edward Onsel. Several of the Sophomores are taking part in band and sports. We chose Jean Smith,as an attendant to the Home- coming queen. ' ' Back Row: Jean Smith, Norman Burns, Douglas Murdock, James Bowers, Kenneth Cline, Don Deiter, Doyle Phillips, Helen Mae Sebringo FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY The Freshman left the Junior High in u48n very anxious to reach High School, We have twenty members in our class. In our first class meeting we elected officers. Thhy are as follows: President, Jim Patton, Vice President, Leighton Stahl, Secetary-Trasurer, Harry Ken, an, Student Council, Harold Purkey-Robert Shaw, News Reporter, June Gorrill, The Freshman Initation was held October 35, 1948 in the school building.
