De Weexd John Hoff John Frederickson John Fre derickson Vice President Mike Prater I if Secretary-Treasurer Joan Vander Kamp Senior's Farewell This was your life over the last four years Senior. The first year you spent getting used to your new surroundings. You forgot your locker combination, miss placed your books, and went to the wrong classes. When the King and Queen Parade rolled around you were caught un- prepared and consquently your royal couple rode in a broken down convertible owned by Miss Godden. Your Sophomore year you began to raise money for the Junior-Senior Prom, but a year later when it came time to give the social event of the season you were caught with lack of funds. Cakes sales, car washed, and dances were given in mad succession, and finally you raised the money, but not until you had had an argument with the rest of the school over the legal aspect of putting some cake sale money in your jar for your King and Queen at the last minute. You now have completed your senior year, and what a wonderful year it was under the guidance of Mrs. Agnes Huffman and Mr. Charles W. Thistlewaite, your advisors. You have attended your last football, basketball, and baseball games and have yelled your last yell as a student of this school. You have walked down the halls of Ripon High for the last time and somehow you can not help feeling sad inside. Now you are about to enter into a new world a world completely different from the one you are leaving. This was your life as a student of Ripon Union High School and what a fruitful life it has been. President Joey Luis Business Buzz You spent most of your time preparing for the Junior-Senior Prom this year Juniors. Hot dog, Missile bar, and Cup cake sales were given to appropriate money for the ball. You also sponsored the annual King and Queen fete. Un- like all of the past years when a parade was featured you alternated the standard procedure and held a carnival week instead. Each class was alloted one day to do anything they wished to raise money, many clever ideas were put to work by the different classes, and the carnival turned out a huge success Then at last your magic moment arrived-Prom Time- and all of your hopes, and ambitioun were fulfilled, but not half of those hopes would have been ful- filled without the help of your advisors, Mrs. Rampoldi and Mr. Delamarter.
