Offi- cers for the first semester were: Warren Snodgrass, President, David Eckhoff, Vice President, Joyce Grasso, Secretary, and Loris Bringelson, Congress- man. The band marched at all the league football games under the direction of drum majorette Ivy Rogers. Activities for the year included marching at halftime and parading at the College of the Pacific homecoming at Stockton. The band participated in the Berkeley Band Day at the University of California. They also per- formed during the halftime of the U. C.-San Jose State football game. Outstanding events included the annual Spring and Christmas Concerts under the direction of Band Director Ernest Azevedo. Officers for the second semester remained the same except that Bill Scharmann was elected to fill the office of Vice President. Activities for the second semester included par- ticipating in the Stanislaus County Music Festival at Modesto High School, and performing on Talent Day at Modesto Junior College in Modesto Feb- ruary 24.
