Yes, it is a lovely evening and a wonderful night for the play. And that reminds me that the play tonight is mighty good! I-low do I know, sir? Why, l've heard a lot about it and I know what l'm talking about. The name? Oh, it's called Our Class History and the cast is the Class of I937. Our seats are next to each other so we can enjoy the play together. Look, we're just in time. The overture is ending, the lights are dimming, and the curtain rises on the first act of a four-act play, Our Class History. Act I On a lovely late summer day, September II, I933, to be exact, seventy lshy Freshmen tried to put up a brave show before the staring glances of upper classmen. We began our school term as greenhorns but we were all there! However, our joy soon turned to sorrow for within a few months we lost a dear classmate, Estaline Lisenbee. But we froshies enjoyed our first Christmas party together and in the spring we had a swimming party and wiener roast. Say, kids, remember the boat rides? Act II What,-a feeling it was to know that we were no longer greenies. We settled right down to business and had some sales and we also had our class parties. We initiated the Freshmen before a hilarious student body. A little later, a few sophomore girls presented a skit at a student body party-proving that we already had talent. Act Illl '- We Juniors had o lot to look forward to in our third year. We gotgxour class rings and we also presented our class play, The Simple Life. We gave ci Junior-Senior Prom in May at the Tracy Inn in honor of the graduating class. Act IV ' 1 Seniors! The hope of every high school student is to become a Senior and graduate with honors. At last it was our chance. f We presented our class play, The Rowdy Gentleman, in November. Then, on March Sth, we had our Senior Strike. We went to Camp Connell where we had lots of fun in the snow. .After nine months of hard work, we attended our last day within the walls of our Alma Mater on May 28th. We held our Baccalaureate service on the evening of Sunday, May 30th. On .Iune 3rd, forty-six students were presented with their diplomas of graduation. And so ends another life drama in the school of education.
