Tennis Team Finishes at 2 The women’s tennis team com- pleted a successful season on Oct. 30 when they emerged from the WIC- WAC tournament with a second- place position. First place finisher was St. Norbert. Leading up to their season end. the Rcdwomen had ac- cumulated a 3-0 WIC-WAC record. On Sept. 15 the neiters defeated reigning champ St. Norbert in a dual match 5-4. In the ACM tournament the Rcdwomen tallied 16 points to finish second ehind Carlcton. who had 27 points. Other match scores included a loss to UW-Stc- vens Point in a dual meet (the score was 9-0.) and a victory over UW- Green Bay on Sept. 29. The final score was 5-4. The Redwomen were pleased with their performance, commented one member: it really came down to the wire, but St. Nor- bcrl's was able to pull ahead.” Men’s Lacrosse - Rough And Ready The basic idea of the fall Lacrosse program is to practice for the upcoming spring season in which teams compete for the honor to reign as champ. The fall Lacrosse team usually schedules 3-5 games including a 2-game tournament in Whitewater. This past season the team was defeated by Whitewater and Northern Illinois University at the UW-W tourney. The other team that was present was Madison. The Redmen also traveled to Madison and suffered a loss in the capitol city. The teams that the team faces in the fall are totally awesome according to one player. Bob Murphy commented on the new blood that came out for the team this past fall: They will hopefully grow to be a strong part of future teams at Ripon.” FALL 15
