An Appreciation of Dean Barber MORE than to any other one factor, Ripon owes her strength and efficiency in war time to the ability and untiring efforts of Dean Barber. Acting as both dean and president and standing at the head of a department, a tre- mendous amount of work and responsibility has rested upon his shoulders. He has shown himself fully equal to the task, however, and Ripon has passed through one of her most successful years in every way, despite the abnormal conditions. Dean Barber has been at Ripon for twelve years. Ha has held the office of dean for three years.
