N., an .ug .Apgar .ul xii A knight, dressed in shining armor and mounted on a fiery steed, belonged to a special society in the Middle Ages. The knight's creed was called chivalry. To become a knight, one had to spend a long and arduous period of training, first as a page and later as a squire. After performing a noble feat of heroism and proving his ability, the squire received the accolade and became a knight. Christian students today can learn something from knighthood. The long years of training in a Christian school, home and church, prepare you for service in a special society-God's kingdom. Your code of ethics is not chivalry but the ten commandments of God. Your motivating force is not to rescue some fair damsel in distress or slay a dragon but to serve your Christ by using all your talents for God's kingdom. If knighthood could inspire a whole generation to greatness, surely we have a higher calling, a more worthy code, a nobler enterprise, a brighter gleam. Will you receive the accolade? n-' A 1 U ,. be i - I 0 I- Y 1 fx J n N 'fl fiklff- . . 'W-. .,:.. -' ,F 1.Z'v'g-af 125 H' gfggiyfp-f,'f .
