'Pete' Rowe, the Band Director for the Ripley School for the past three years, we dedicate this, the 1957 edition of the Warrior, the Ripley annual. Headlines like those shown were the rule not the ex- ception with M . Rowe. We proudly point to the three full years of compe- tition with no rating under a I, the highest award in Music in this state. Contest at Tulsa, Enid, Kingfisher, Edmond, Norman, and Stillwater acclaim the Ripley Band the best in its class in the state. It is not for the above alone that we offer this dedication. Mr. Rowe was a friend to all students and liked by all teachers, students, and patrons of this community. His sincere desire to do that which was right endeared him to all. We consider it an honor to dedicate this edition of the Warrior to so good a man as Martin A. Rowe. The Annual Staff
