Ripley 19-Millington 0 The Ripley Tigers displayed their abilities in their first game'by defeating Millington with a score of 19-0. Scoring the touchdowns were Halliburton, Boyd, and Sanders. Paris Z4-Ripley 0 The Tigers lost their first game to Paris with a score of Z4-0. The Tigers made a scoring threat when Sanders made a run almost to the Paris 10 yard line. James Ryan Miller Charles Duggan Keith Hill Leon Boyd Ripley Z5-Covington 14 The Tigers were victorious over Byars-Hall by a score of Z5-14. The Touchdowns were made by Sanders, Miller, and Half- acre. Hill punted throughout the game and made the extra points. Dyersburg Z4-Ripley 0 Ripley Tigers played a very good game against Dyersburg. The line was very powerful. Keith Hill was injured and carried off the field. Ripley's defense weakened and the Trojans SC'-Wed two more touchdowns. 62 Luther Sanders

Ripley 14-Ridgely 0 The Tigers chalked up another victory by defeating the Ridgeley's eleven. Scoring the touchdowns were Crain and Halliburton. Ripley 38-Tiptonville 7 Tiptonville was no match for the Ripley Tigers and lost by the score of 38-7. Boyd, halfback, made his blocks nicely. Taylor, showed up well in the line, regular Tiger center. Bud Taylor W. B. Jones Elry Briggs Tony Taylor Louis Wheatley Lynn Drumwright 7-Ripley 0 Somerville defeated the Tigers by only one touchdown. Halli- burton made a scoring threat by running the ball from Ripley's 45 yd. line to the Panthers 5 yd. line. The line showed to be very pow- erful. Ripley Z4-Halls lZ Again the Tigers were victorious running over the Halls Tigers by a score of 24-12. Ripley's line that never gives up showed up well in this game. 'I'he tigers scoring were Criner, Hill, Sanders, and Halliburton. By winning this game, Ripley was chosen to play in the Tiny Bowl Game. '63
