Following both successful events, they travel to Serra High School in Gardena in April to give a repeat of the Spring Concert. In the earlier part of the year, the spirit at the football and basket ball games was strengthened by their presence at every game. Members of the marching band displayed their talents at the last three football games of the season This has truly been a long and successful season for the band. Brother Terence Leazer, S.M. and Mr. Brian Finegan review works to be presented at the Spring Concert.

Science Devoted to furthering an interst in the world around us, the Riordan High School Science Club has taken part in a multitude of fruitful acitvities. The first field trip of the school was an overnight excursion to Point Lobos and Big Sur. Soon after, a major revision of the club's constitution was begun in late October and completed in early january. The most important undertaking was the sponsorship of the Riordan Science Fair. By participating in the fiar, students showed their interest in biology, chemistry and physics to visiting scientists and teachers. i An important innovation during the past year l was the institution of joint meetings and field trips i between the science clubs of Immaculate Conception T Academy and Riordan High School, In combined i meetings new lines of inquiry were opened to the students of both schools. l Mr. john Rubia, Advisor.
