Repre- sentatives of all four divisions, together with the activity presidents, compose the council. Headed by jay Dugan, and tmder the guidance of Brother Allen De Long, S.M., the Student Council reached the goals set at the beginning of the year. Acting as the voice of the student body, the council brought to the attention of the student body that spirit and co-operation Were its main goals. These they achieved with great success, especially in spirit. Also the student members of the council ran the eighth grade day and also the registration of the eighth graders. Born ln Cleveland, Ohio, june 14, 1909 Died ln San Francisco, january 8, 1962 in the 32nd year of his Religious Profession On january 8, Brother Carl entered his eternal goal with Mary, his devoted Mother for thirty-two years: Thirty years as a Marianist were spent in San Francisco. Brother Carl was a pioneer to Riordan High when it opened in 1949. He was a great enthusiast of sports and will never be forgotten by the Student Body of Riordan High School.
