Basketball Although not having a great season, the Riordan junior Varsi- ty compiled a respectable ll win, 10 loss record. The highlight of the season was a peak reached hy the team when they polished off St. Francis. The team was led throughout the year by Bob Kent, leading scorer and All C.A. L. center, and Doug Falco, the captain of the team, who jumped second in scoring and was voted the team's most valuable player. The remainder of the team's success was supplied by the de- fensive Work of Eagleson and Gathchalian and the all -around play- ing of Vince, Tuohy, Earnshaw, and Santucci. The future varsity of Riordan, the junior Varsity was sparked along the Way by the help of Coach Gus Hassapakis.

Thorne. 1962 Varsity Track Although many of die members of last year's squad have graduated, the Riordan Varsity Track Team has hopes of regaining the CAL crown. Led by captains Kevin Walsh, Curtis Green, and Bill Ardizoia, the cindermen posted fine early season performances.
