A Successful Season Under the leadership of Coach jerry Finnigan, the Riordan junior Varsity Football Team compiled a successful 4-3 record. Led by Most Valuable Player Chuck Garric and hard-running Mike Gilmore, the J. V. 's possessed the same determination and courage that typified the 1961 Varsity. Mike Marovich, winner of the Dave Smith Award as the most inspirational lineman, was the leader of the defensive team. lf the members of the junior Varsity continue to show the same spirit, Riordan's football program will continue to impress all onlookers.
