Stage Crew Backstage for all assemblies and dramatic productions presented by Riordan is a group of hard working, dedicated students whose work make all stage productions possible. During the school year all functions presented in the Riordan Auditorium depend upon this group of men. Bro. Claude Boulay is the moderator of the Stage Crew. On December l, 2, and 3, Riordan presented George Gernard ShaW's Caesar and Cleopatra . The excellent cast was headed by Gilbert Agrilar, Whose colorful performance Will be long remembered at Riordan. Sharing the spotlight was Ellen Henry as Cleopatra. According to Mr. Barbieri, director ofthe spectacular, The play is out- standing because of its unique presentation of comedy, drama, and history. The Art Club and the Stage Crew led by Mr. Barbieri and Mr. Moreno, designed and created sets which gave the audience the ancient atmosphere surrounding the plot of Caesar and Cleopatra . This club, under the leadership of jack Bonsor, created the gala decorations for the highly complimented night rally. Also the club Worked on the sets used in the Fall play Caesar and Cleo- patra. For all of the dances and other school events the art club helps with the de- coration. This club, under the guidance of Mr. Moreno, has served as a suitable outlet for the students of Riordan High School. 99
