AMERICA S'l'llliY The America Story, the musical cavalcade of the history of America, will be looked upon for many years as one of the most memorable feats of our high school career. After hours of script writing and five months of preparation Riordan emerged with it's second musical. Words cannot describe it's merit but numbers can. With a cast of over twohundred and an unbelievable audience of seven thousand the America Story , presented by the Class of 55, has left a dramatic mark which will be long remembered. ma ,593 Jack Briare R vxevlx X009 o C0 C . 6090 ve Sx exxx 0 0 sxs . aloe Sill: QOCOV r wow si C-'V The Hollywood niteclub scene fini' .ani- The Orchestra of the America Story. l The Religious scene. This year it is the purpose of the Lance to dedicate this page to the MEN BEHIND THE SCENES . Little is said about them during the performances, et without their efforts it would be impossible to maintain the high calibre of our P- ix 'Q Y . Ng, Mr. James Lindland meditating on the American Story The Class of 55 would like to thank Mr. James Lindland for patient- ly working with us through our four years at Riordan. It has been his experience, knowledge and originality that has given us the basis Know How of the theatre and has set Riordan on its pinn- acle of drama. It has been through his unending work that Riordan today is proudly and respectfully recognized by the students, parents, teachers, and critics of San Francisco. May his success match his efforts productions. For working months before each show on stag- ing, effects, set construction, lighting and make-up they truly deserve this recognition.
