Due, perhaps, to the inexperience of the team, this coveted possession eluded Riordan's grasp. Although the team lost its first game to Albany, itcame back strong to beat Salinas, Sequoia, St. Elizabeth's, and Marin Catholic, the last two victories being C .A. L. contests.
