FR .PAUL G KELLEY S.M. BRO . LEO RAUSCH S.M. Vice Principal Dean of Studies Registrar Biology Algebra German C .S .F, Moderator Maintenance FR. JOHN RIELLY S. CHAPLAIN Religion English Sodality Coordinator Don Bosco Club Senior Moderator To the Class of l955: The distribution of the Lance is one of the many reminders that the end of your high school career is close at hand. But it is a very special reminder, for The Lance is your book of mem- ories, recalling the four years that you have spent at Riordan, while recording in a special way the achievements of the school - scholastic, ath- letic, social and spiritual - under your leadership during l954-l955. Looking back, the l955 Lance will recall your successes and failures as Riordan students. lt should likewise remind you that you have every right to face the future with a firm confidence in your God, in your Heavenly Mother, Mary, and in yourself. The blessing of God and of Mary has been with you in the past. They will con- tinue to bless you as long as you remain faithful to them in the full practice of your religion through active participation in the Sacraments and in your parish life. As for your personal for- mation, your religious, scholastic, social and L gpthletic training has been such as to enable you to'enter the next stage of your development with the tools needed to succeed. As you leave Riordan you go with the heart- iest best wishes of the faculty for a happy and holy life. We have tried to teach you thatl ife will be happy to the extentin which it is holy. May God bless you and Mary keep you. Your Principal, FR. PAUL KELLEY, S.M. BRO, FRANCIS LAHEY S. M. Treasurer Riordan Club
