They might be called the men behind the scenes, the unsung heroes who furnish the much needed manpower for the numerous and varied activities ofa large high school. A member of the Block R Society must either gain a maior block R or two minor block R's in the same sport. This year the Society sponsored a dance and a Field Day for all students. f

Planned by the Fathers' Club and lead by the Faculty, this years student body has sur- passed all previous records with a total of 45O tons .
