You have made new friends, friends who will last through your lives. School friends and experiences with school friends are the happy memories you will keep. In later years through the pages of the 1951 NETHERLANDS, you will recall with warmth your Our l95l Netherlands staff has planned and worked many hours on this an nual, and their efforts are exemplified in an excellent publication. To the members of the class of l95l I find it most difficult to wish suc cess in your chosen fields. Your parents, school board, and faculty have watched you and encouraged you in your ambitions, but, in your troubled age, ambitions and dreams of the future may seem dim. But I cannot help but be- lieve that the greatness that is part of the American people is instilled in each of you, and that by retaining faith in your country and yourselves you will reach your goal.
