unior P ay tray Cats was a three act comeciy which kept the audience rotting with laughter throughout. Prohahty the most comical character was Harry B. S. Skinner, a typical oict farmer visiting the large city. The climax of the whole affair was the engagement of the hero, Mr. Dick Skinner, to three women at the same time. Qne, a vain and conceitect modetg another, a gictdy. frivolous wictow: and the third, a moctern society woman, were por- trayed very skilfully. Mr. Skinner hecame invoiveci in this situation hy try- ing to win a legacy of S10,000. The restriction was that he must he marriect hy mictnight and thatys how he happened to have proposed to three Women in such haste. He jitted att three of them, married Kitty Baker, his office girl, anct won the money. The Juniors were wen pieasect with their first performance. Wir. Barton Xvooci coached the play. Senior I7 ay fter many weeks of faittifui practice, the seniors, in April, presented their play, entitled HXVtio,s Xvtiof The Student Body had been looking forward to the time of tile presentation with impatience. and its great- est expectations were futmted. Farmer Toby and Postmaster Simpicins were the hilarious comedians of the story. The first showing was a matinee per- formance, for students only. This gave ttie performers an opportunity to gain confidence for the next stiow, and gave ttiose wtio coutdn,t come in the evening, a chance to see time piay.
