For without their kind and understanding sympathy of our many student problems, our passing through Rio Vista High School would not have been accomplished as pleasantly as has been the case. Mrs. Stafford was our sponsor. ' The following year, with Mrs. Burton as sponsor, we gained Lillian and lost several. In our third year, we held on to our three regulars and picked up Arla Dean. Mr. lvloyer was our sponsor that year. This year, our last, we have our four old faithfuls, two of whom were not satisfied with their family name, however, and Mr. Pearce is our sponsor. Class Will We, the graduating class, being adjudged hopelessly unsound of mind and frivolous of dis- position, hereby bequeath our various talents and abilities to the following members of the junior Class. I, Billie jo Parsley, regretfully relinquish to Mary Katherine Ivy all of my glamour, romantic ideas and matrimonialambitions, but leave HIM out of it! I, Arla Dean, leave my perfect attendance record, my athletic prowess and all of the lunch money I embezzled to Shirley Moore. I, MRS. Lillian Morris, will cheerfully watch my toga of straight A's, my four medals for wrestling and jude, and my so far unpaid teacher's salary, fall on Ellen Stout. Be careful, Ellen, else you will end even as I am ending. And I, Billy Eugene, most handsome Senior boy, and the ONLY candidate for many, many class honors in the male realm will watch Billy Tuley bear up under the terrific strain of maintaining a valedictorian's record all of the next year. Billy, you must quit annoying the ladies. It is leap year, you know, so keep in training--you can outrun them if you are scar- ed enough. And stop wasting money on orchids. Don't you know that they are using them in salads at home? Wake up, Handsome. To the remainder of the junior class, we leave enough of our talents and abilities not other- wise bestowed so that each and everyone of you will be glad we are gone. Selah! What ot the Future? Ten years hence we read--For Sale! A Model A Ford. Has served its purpose. Guaran- teed to follow a straight Lyneg. Mrs. Emma jane Prather. Wanted! A MAN. Will not consider a crew cut. MISS B.j. Parsley Will Do Baby Sitting. Cheap rate since Ijust mix them with my own lZ. Call for and re- turn sometimes more than I pick up. Mrs. Lillian Morris. Modeling Wanted! Go anywhere anytime. Specialize in bathing suit work or other cheese- cake. Call Mrs. Ed Moore, west of town.
