'Q HOT LUNCH PROGRAM The 1unch program is under the direction of Supt Bredeson and office assistant Regina Thiel The program opened on the second day of school and will continue through the entire year The two cooks are Mrs Myrtle Rasmussen first cook, and Mrs Ralph Riedel second cook Since Dec 1, Mrs Julius Jensen has been assisting during the rush hour From ll O0 A H to 12 00 noon, 3 high school girls Kay Thiel, Donna Glasnapo and Joanne Wiseman keep dishes, trays etc , clean and in order Government aid is being given to the hot lunch gram Four of the foods that have been received in large amounts are frozen and canned turkey, tomatoes, cheese and hams During the cold weather months a daily average of 260 lunches are served with a daily cost per child for lunch Kindergarten through sixth grade 201 Seventh grade through twelfth grade 25i The lunch program has been improved over the years and is continuing to be a remarkable aid to the school program Tvs .,.1Z,L ,..,Qv'fjliV
